We saw at least nine cheetahs in our two days at Mashatu. On the first night we followed three who were hunting with a Black-Backed Jackal in tow. Earlier in the evening, at our first cheetah sighting, these same three cheetahs were harassing a very irate Bat-Eared Fox.

We saw four cheetah siblings the second day playing and napping under a Shepherd's tree. The three males took turns spraying the tree.
